Random pics of Aug. and Sept.

Joseph Cooper was blessed on August 26th.  Camille isn't usually too far away when ever their is a baby near.
Having fun as a family in the backyard for dinner.  So many great helpers to get the backyard prepared, start fire, and prepare food.  Love it when the sun goes down in our backyard and makes being back there so much more enjoyable (around 6 p.m. during the summer).
Parker is behind Carter while roasting marshmallows.
We went to the park behind Lone Peak High School to try out our kayaks.  They worked great there and it was a perfect spot to kayak.  Some of the kids even had fun getting into the water and fishing from the side.

Carter is so great at maneuvering in the kayak.  He does awesome!

We had the weirdest thing happen in our backyard.  One day I looked out the back window to see a pretty good size hole appear half way up our hill.  Upon closer examination, we saw that it was a huge wasp nest that was about the size of a cantaloupe.  It was under the dirt and probably all of the movement inside of it made the dirt around the bottom come loose.  We sprayed it one evening as good as we could with wasp spray.  The next morning I went to see if anything was still alive in it and the whole wasp nest was completely gone leaving a huge hole.  Not sure what happened to this nest.  Maybe a cat took it away or possibly the wasps all flew together to take it to safety ;)  Anyways - a pretty crazy thing.  At least it wasn't a snake as that was what Bradley started telling his friends we had on our hill.

That wasp nest is crazy. Ashley is allergic to bees so any bee that comes around here is dead immediately. :)
