July Happenings

Camille took Drivers School which lasted about 2 weeks.  Her goal was to get her license before she turned 17.  We went to either Orem or American Fork each day for the classes.  She also was able to get hours in driving and had fun going each day.  I grabbed a quick picture as she drove herself home one of the driving days.
During the hot days we enjoyed hanging out at our neighborhood creek.  I even dared to get in up to my waist.  It was really cold, but actually felt really good.  Here are the boys as happy as always to be in water.  Bradley, Carter, Tanner, Parker and Johnathan
For the 4th of July we started out the morning by heading to Ensign Peak in Salt Lake City.  Eric met us there and we enjoyed climbing up to the top.  I had never done this before.  It was a lot of fun.

Eric was nice enough to make us breakfast after hiking. The food was delicious.  We had a lot of fun going with him.  The kids love spending time with Uncle Eric every chance they can get.

All around the zoo there are cool lego creations.  We had fun taking pictures next to many of them.

That evening we sang "Happy Birthday" to Johanna and enjoyed eating some ice-cream in memory of her.  She would be 16 years old.  We then had fun doing some fireworks in our front yard.  What a full and fun day!!!

Adamson Family Reunion Part II

Our plan was to head to Lake Tahoe and enjoy the morning there, but since the heat was so extreme we decided to stay at Jared's house and enjoy the day together.  Some of the family were really affected from the heat at the park the previous day - it is scary when we aren't used to it and then in it for 10 hours straight.  We still had fun.  The kids enjoyed some creek time and playing with their cousins.  Jared and Danielle were amazing hostesses.  We ate such delicious food and had so much fun together.  Tanner ended up catching a fish in the creek.  Jared helped him cook it on his BBQ and then gave it to Tanner to eat.  Tanner apparently doesn't enjoy eating the fish as much as he likes to fish for the sport.  We all had fun eating it.  We went half way home on Saturday.  We stopped off in Reno at the Cabelas.  It was fun to see a different one and the cool animals they had.  They have this huge elephant - it is really cool.  Parker blue, Carter yellow
