Beginning of October

Carter and Parker - They have the most fun teacher this year and have really loved being in her class.  I love getting the papers from school or walking into their classroom to see the fun things they have been doing in class.  Here Carter and Parker are next to their paper that is in the hall next to their class.

Camille - She received her Young Women's In Excellence Award on October 3, 2012 at Young Women's In Excellence.  She has worked so hard the past couple of months to be able to receive it by this date.  It was fun being able to help her with some of her projects that she accomplished in this huge endeavor.  Bishop Atwood gave quite the remarks about Camille - I wish I had recorded him talking to her, but didn't know if it was appropriate or not.  I truly have one talented and amazing daughter!  That night they also had a talent show with all of the girls performing and a yummy dinner.  Camille sang and played her guitar.  Afterwards many from our ward came up and were amazed that she could play so well. It was fun to hear them commenting on her.  She continues to amaze and surprise me with her talents.

Spirit Sticks - This year at Sego Lily they decided to start an incentive program with spirit sticks.  I have not seen something motivate Bradley so much in a long time.  You can either receive them at school for different things or can buy them for $1 at the office.  Bradley was willing to do whatever was required of him to get money to buy some of these.  I had to take a picture of him as he was cleaning my blinds.  One silly boy.

BYU games - Football games continue to be a fun thing our family looks forward to each fall.  I was able to attend with Byron, Camille and Parker this particular game.  It is nice to have more one-on-one time with the kids when going with them.  I also look forward to this time with Byron to see him in his element at these games.

Scheels - We had to go and see this cool new store in Sandy soon after it opened up.  It is truly a sports haven - my kids were loving every bit of it.  They have the coolest places to take pictures and so many different things sports related to look at.
Tanner loved seeing his name on this product.

Carter, Parker, Bradley, Tanner and Camille enjoying this cool truck.
Silly kids - good thing those were fake skunks.
GAC - Byron has his quarterly GAC conference and enjoyed it this time around in Provo.  I love when he is able to stay closer to home even if he is gone longer hours than normal.  Here he is with a group of those in this group.  He works with amazing people and meets so many from different countries.
Encore - Camille has loved being in Encore this year.  She had her first concert in October and it was so fun to see her perform.
School project - Dads are the best at helping with school projects.  Tanner had to create a simple machine that did certain things.  Byron was so great to come home from work and spend a couple of hours helping Tanner make something in the garage.  They came up with a really cool machine and Tanner even got full credit for it - definitely would not have been the case if I helped him.
