July lazy days

Johnathan had his birthday fall on the first day of Scout Camp - he was so excited to be able to attend, but it made for celebrating his birthday a little hard.  Byron & I gave him our present a couple of days early so he could enjoy and have fun with it before leaving.  He wanted a DSI really bad, so I was able to find one on KSL that had some games with it already.  It was a little over our price range, so Johnathan paid the difference.  He was one VERY excited boy!

On July 6th, Jeremy & Sarah had their sweet baby Joseph Cooper Beck born on July 6th.  He was only 34 weeks old and weighed 4 lbs. 5 oz.  He came early due to Sarah's blood pressure being so high.  He was born at American Fork Hospital, but got taken over to UVRMC where a NICU unit was.  So poor Sarah and Joseph were separated 15 miles apart.  Byron, Melissa & I were able to go visit Joseph on the 7th in the NICU.  He was so small and adorable.  He had a lot of things hooked up all around him.  What a sweet miracle! He ended up coming home from the hospital about one month later and is such a sweet little guy - he is gaining weight great and is doing awesome.
Gotta love the random pictures that get found on cameras.  I guess my kids were having fun having their own photo session.  Above Bradley & Carter.  Below Parker with red shirt.

During the summer, once a week we go up to our duplexes to do yard work.  This particular time the boys and Byron were all gone to scout camp so Camille & I had fun mowing all 3 lawns while Carter, Parker & Bradley helped rake and clean up.  My kids are great helpers when they want to be.

The kids found out from some friends in our neighborhood about a rope swing down at our neighborhood creek.  We had to go and check it out one day.  Carter, Parker & Bradley had so much fun playing in the very cold water.  They also had fun swinging on the swing and Carter & Parker got daring to jump in.  Above Parker & Carter, below Parker & Bradley.

  Cute Carter enjoying the swing.
