Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving day up at Grandma & Grandpa Beck's house.  The kids were so excited to go to their house. Camille made the rolls at home that morning and a yummy cherry pretzel salad.  We got up to their house while the preparations were still under way.  It was fun to be a part of the prep and enjoy each other.  Camille is all over food and loved preparing celery with cheese and peanut butter.  Grandma had about 6 foot long lists all ready for the kids to write down everything that they are thankful for.  My kids all had a great time doing this before we ate and really were creative with how much they wrote on them.  Some of my kids filled up the whole paper and wrote pretty small.  It was fun to read through them later to see what they wrote.

A lot of the family were not able to attend, so we enjoyed a small gathering together and had a great time.  The food and company were great.  We had fun playing perudo after eating.  It is a really fun dice game that all the children even loved playing.

We spent the night and Byron enjoyed going shopping with his mom, Melissa, and Jeff the next morning.  I even went to a couple of stores with Byron after they came back around 9 a.m.  That evening we saw "The Muppets."  It was such a cute show - we all loved it!
