Camille was in the Lehi High School play, Big the Musical, back in November 2011. She played a kid and hobo. She did an amazing job! The plays set was amazing and they actually ended up winning an award for how awesome it looked. Their was piano that actually lite up when stepped on. I loved Camille's outfit for the first part with her silver pants - so 80's. I put her hair in curlers each night and boy was that an endeavor. She was pretty curly most mornings when we took them out - brought back great memories of growing up and my mom putting those in my hair.
The songs and dancing were really fun. It is pretty much like the movie, but with music. This was her first performance with the high school and she really loved it. The 3 teachers - Nelson, Nudd and Allgaier are all amazing! There were 75 in who participated in it. Towards the start of the play, the hours for practice get pretty long, but all paid off in the end. I loved going for the few times I was able to and see her on stage. Camille has no fear of stage and thrives in this type of environment. So many family members came to see her - they are all awesome to support her in everything she continually is involved in.
