First part of July

Camille loves coming up with new things to make for us.  This particular day she made her own pie crust for chicken pot pie.  They were absolutely delicious.
Since Byron & Tanner left early on the 4th of July, we headed up to spend the day with Grandpa & Grandma Beck.  We started at the Mill Creek parade.  It is a very small parade, but boy do they pass out the candy.  The kids learned from last time we went that bringing bags is a must.  They filled those to the brim - Bradley ended up getting the most of them all and was pretty happy about that.
Camille, Carter, Parker & Johnathan waiting for the parade to start.

High fiving the police officers as they passed.
The candy results and 4 very happy children.
Uncle Robbie was working at the school for the breakfast after the parade scrambling eggs.  It was fun to see him along with Sarah & Zachary since this parade is in their neighborhood.

Carter won 2 coke at one of the games - he was pretty happy about his win.
Trying to get the bottles to stand up was a very daunting task, but achieved by some.
Eric was so nice to help the boys with the guns.
Camille with her treats she saved her tickets to buy.
Carter won an elephant and was pretty excited about this.
 Silly Johnathan
That evening we went outside and enjoyed watching all of the fireworks going off in the sky.  This was the first year that the fireworks that go up into the air were allowed and boy were there a lot going off all around us.

Camille had fun finding the function on the camera that took firework pictures.
We spent the night up at Grandpa & Grandma's house and enjoyed going to Day Break the next morning to enjoy the beautiful area.  There is a fun walking path we went on along with some really fun play sets.

We also saw the home that Extreme Home Makeovers had just finished a couple of weeks previous.
We had fun having Alyssa and Cadan over to play.  Camille is always so good at letting the kids help her cook - she gets them all set up with aprons and they can't be more excited to help.

Tanner started playing Arsenal soccer during the summer - he tried out and was put on a team.  This soccer is much more intense than the soccer we have done in the past.  Tanner is getting really good and enjoying everything about it.  He has two practices each week during the summer as the games will start up in the Fall.  Tanner can't get enough of soccer as he constantly wants to play outside with his brothers or friends.  He is getting really good as he has a trainer through Arsenal that helps train them along with a great coach - Joe Webb.  He has made so many great friends on his team.

Tanner's humongous water bottle - he had this water bottle for practices until a little kid came up one day and got a drink out of it while they were practicing.  Tanner didn't think that was particularly cool and ended up throwing it away.
