October 2013

We had a mishap with our computer that deleted about 2 months of pictures.  Luckily some of them were posted on the internet or we had them on our phones.  Also Picasa Web Albums saved the day other than them being such small pictures now.  So unfortunately many activities are not accounted for.  We learned many things from this experience and now backup our pictures :).
Byron moved into his new office.  We were able to come have a tour of the new building.  Everybody came except for Tanner who was at soccer.  His office is amazing with huge windows and a beautiful view of the North side of the building.

The Deacons had their wood carving merit badge.  Brother Boyle came to help teach the boys.  Johnathan had fun whittling a walking stick.

Byron and Johnathan went on a backpacking sleep over with the Deacons.  Johnathan is pretty lucky to have his dad serve with him in Deacons.  They even brought their own food.  Johnathan was pretty excited to have a say in what he would be eating.  He made sure he had potatoes, gravy and chicken for dinner.  He had a good time.

Here is Byron with his food for dinner.

At one point Johnathan asked Tyler to watch his backpack while he went to the bathroom.  When he got back, Tyler refused to let Johnathan carry his own backpack.  He is such an awesome friend to Johnathan.
Bradley with his cute soccer team.  He loved playing his first year and was pretty aggressive and fast on the field.

We went to Emmetts and Ethels to have some scones.  While there we also got a sundae to share - it was a definite hit with us all.  Carter in black, Parker in orange.

Camille came home from her floral design class and taught Bradley how to make paper flowers. He was so excited to make some and spent about 3 hours that night making a few.  He loves any kind of craft and is actually really good at doing them.
Below is the flowers that Camille made at her class.
Johnathan LOVES bread!  He can eat rolls by the handfuls.  He did a great job at making his first loaves of bread.  They turned out yummy.
We bought a Honda Pioneer and the kids were so excited when we brought it home that they climbed right into it.  Byron also took them on short rides around out neighborhood.

Parker and Bradley
We took it out to an area west of Utah Lake and had fun taking turns driving it.  Byron would take some kids for about an hour and then I would follow with the other kids.  We had so much fun.
Bradley has a clean streak in him every once in a while.  I loved seeing all of his toys lined up so nicely on his table.
Camille with some more of her pretty floral designs from her class.
Tanner had his Board of Review for his Eagle.  David Wilcox was so nice to come and talk to the Board about Tanner.  Byron and I were able to go also and it was awesome to hear the nice words that David said about Tanner.  He sure is lucky to have amazing leaders.  Afterwards we went and had ice-cream to celebrate such an amazing accomplishment.

Bradley and Cadan enjoyed hanging out with each other.  The older girls also had fun playing games with Carter and Parker.

Parker (L), Carter (R) and Bradley

We had a fun time going to a pumpkin patch to pick out our own pumpkins.  Below Carter has found a nice pumpkin.
Parker getting a ride in the wheelbarrow.

Parker (L) and Carter (R) getting ready to leave for Clear Creek - an overnight camp for the 6th graders.  They ended up having such a fun time.

I went on a field trip with Bradley's class to Lehi High School to watch a play.  It was fun being with Bradley.

Camille performing with her Encore group.
Bradley's awesome crazy hair day.  He was so excited to have it spiked and orange.
Carter and Parker when they got home from Clear Creek - the smiles say it all.
Tanner with his Arsenal team.  He had such a great group of kids.  Tanner is on the bottom row on the far right.
Halloween class party - I was able to help in the school and had fun  - Carter was an army man and Parker a skeleton.

Grandpa and Grandma Adamson came down and were at our house for Halloween.  Every body's costumes are impressive!  Love these crazy kids so much!!!
