Carter & Parker's 9th Birthay

How blessed I am to have these two boys in our home!  They bring so much excitement, energy, comedy, and fun to our lives.  What a fun way to spend life with a twin right beside you.  They really do get along so well and have a special bond between them even if they don't always get along.  I love walking into their room at night to see them both in the same bed.  Or when one is hurt how the other runs over to comfort them.  I also love to hear how great they are together in school from their teachers and how if one is struggling with something, the other will help them.  They even loose their front teeth around the exact same time:).  Love these two!!!
Monday they woke up to donuts.  We had a family party that evening.   (Carter-white, Parker-blue)

 Parker with his scary cake.
We played some fun games - one was a relay race with the kids where they had to put on certain clothing items, walk around the chair and then take them all off before handing off to the next person.  There were some pretty funny moments.  They all seemed to have a fun time.

The next game was trying to pop a balloon behind you and your partner's back.  Now this was down right hilarious!  The facial expressions were great.

Byron & Melissa trying with no luck.
They got some awesome presents from everybody. (Carter &  Parker)

The next night we had fun with their friend party. Luckily they both have pretty much the same friends, so they invited 4 boys.  It started out with roasting hot dogs for dinner.  These crazy boys were having way too much fun!
Then we headed out to the Legacy Center to enjoy some swimming.  I loved sitting on the side watching them all.  Luckily the water area isn't too deep so even those that can't swim very well were able to have as much fun as those they did know how to swim.
