Halloween

The long anticipated day finally came.  Bradley was so excited to be able to dress up at school and also participate in the parade which he has watched with me for so many years.  He made an adorable lion.  Carter and Parker decided to be "Thing 1 and Thing 2" again this year which made for pretty easy costumes.  They got a lot of compliments with that one.  It was a little strange for Johnathan this year as he wasn't able to dress up at school.  I think he was totally fine with that, though.  Byron took the day off from work and was able to go with me to the school for the parade.  After the parade I was able to help in Carter and Parker's classroom with their Halloween party. 

 

The day was abnormally warm - around 67 degrees when the kids went out that evening.  I have never remembered such warm weather.  The kids literally could go out without any jackets which was so nice so their costumes could be seen.  Camille took Bradley around for half of our neighborhood then I took over for the rest.  Then Byron, Carter and Parker went with Sam Linton.  Johnathan went with Tyler.  Tanner went to the Hinckley's house and had fun with Austin, Michael and Thomas.  I have never gone out with the kids and actually had fun going to quite a few homes with Bradley.  We met up with Byron to finish our neighborhood.  Dad and Mom Beck were down in Arizona with Michael so we had fun heading over to Jeff and Emily's neighborhood so the kids could be with their cousins.  They ended up going around to some homes with them. 

 

Overall, it was a hit with way too much candy as usual.

Byron took Tanner and Camille down to their orthodontist after school and apparently Byron and Bradley went to McDonalds while they were waiting.

I usually stay inside waiting for the kids to come around but with the warmer weather I wanted to be outside also.
