Carter, Parker, Johnathan & Tanner all participated in soccer again this year. It is always fun to watch them during a game and cheer them on. This year was a little stressful, though. Luckily Tanner & Johnathan were on the same team (5th & 6th grade boys) and Carter & Parker were together. It was crazy how some of the games overlapped, though. Their games were at the Sports Complex, but sometimes they were about 5 minutes walking distance away from each other. I felt like I was leaving early from one game to get to the other game quite often and couldn't do both games justice. Byron wasn't available most of the season to attend games, so this was an even harder task. I was lucky to have Camille help out sometimes when I needed to run to the other game and she would stay back to see the other one finish.
Other than the cons, it was really fun to see them playing each week. I feel like each boy gets better and better each year and more aggressive with the ball.
Camille had fun during one of the games taking pictures with my camera. Johnathan is #3 and Tanner #5. I loved seeing the both of them playing together on the field. They are starting to really work well together and the coach would have them play side by side each other quite often.
I love those action kicks - it looks like Johnathan could get kicked pretty far in this picture:).
Their coach was really good with them. They didn't have a winning season, but did improve drastically through out the games.
My exhausted boys!
Carter & Parker were on an all boys team this year - it was quite a big advantage for them when they played against teams with girls. I loved watching them this year especially since they are so aggressive. (Parker has the black shin guards and Carter the white shin guards.) Above Parker trying to stay with the ball with one of his teammates.
Parker (#1) with his team and assistant coach, Nate Loftin.

Carter & Parker's team with their coach. They were most excited for the yummy treats they got after each game.
Poor Parker looked pretty awful from a huge black eye he received a few days earlier when he ran into his cousin.
