Now this is the way to fly a kite- laying down with an otter pop.
For our Father's Day/Mother's Day/Birthday gifts to both Dad & Mom Beck, we decided to get them a Trafalga pass so we could go with them once in a while. Carter & Parker were at Camp Jeremiah for scouts, so they didn't end up going with us. We had fun spending a day at the Orem Trafalga playing miniature golf, batting cages, simulated 4D movie and the slick track.
Unfortunately they only had the single cars out, so Camille was the only child allowed to ride on them. Us girls did, however have fun riding around alone.

Parker & Carter home from Camp Jeremiah with their fun swords. They had such a great time. Since being released from scouts, it was weird to not participate with them.
Byron got this massive bruise while playing soccer with the Deacons at a weekly activity. One of the boys that was into it a little too much kicked Byron's leg accidentally. Poor Byron's leg didn't look the same for over a month and was very painful. He ended up going on the airplane right after this happened and it became more sore from all of the sitting down that he did.
We spent a day at Liberty Park with Allyson, Eliza, Rose, and Myles. It was a warm day, so the water was the perfect way to cool off.

Byron told the kids at dinner time about having a large fort as a kid. He gathered wood from all over to create this large fort. Him and his friends also found a peacock and had it live in the fort for quite some time. The boys were totally engrossed with this story and decided to create their own fort in our backyard. Byron gave them some extra pieces of wood and they set to work. Seriously the whole day was spent building and playing in it. I hadn't seen my boys so anxiously engaged in something like this for quite some time - I guess anything with wood, nails and hammers will bring this out in you:). After it was built - seriously 4ft x 4 ft - (pretty small, but amazing what they fit into that small space). They brought in chairs, electricity to have a DVD player, a fan and many blankets. They had so much fun. (above - Tanner, Johnathan, Bradley & Parker)
Here is Carter showing off the fun fort.
