2010 missed pictures

I have come across some pictures that I didn't want to leave out from this past year. Many of them I found on Byron's phone.
These are taken from a Joint YW/YM activity where they had to see who could take off a tire the fastest and other fun activites in preparation for a mission.

Cute Carter helping up at our duplexes.  Isn't he so inginious to get inside of the bag?:)
The following are all taken at the Father and Son's activity.  They were able to do archery along with the famous candy cannon.

Cute Bradley all ready for church:).  Apparently he forgot to take off his pajama shorts.
We enjoyed an afternoon walk on a Sunday to see the sheep at the park nearby. The kids loved feeding them any grass they could find.
Parker in white and Carter in blue.

Cute Bradley sitting on the porch outside eating something all by himself.
These pictures were taken at the 11 year olds overnight Stake Camp.  Byron was able to attend with Tanner sleeping at Willow Park here in Lehi.  They were able to have fun with archery, bottle rockets and kayaks.

Here are some pictures from Byron's trip to Southeast Asia last year.  I believe the one below is of the twin towers in Malaysia.
Here is a fun picture of some people Byron is able to meet with in Asia and the food he gets to experience:).
This is a picture of the halo halo from the Phillippines.  It was a drink that he was told he had to try.

Not sure what these are pics of, but they gross me out - I assume the one on the left are intestines.
For Camille's birthday dinner with her parent's she chose Red Lobster.  I was boring and chose a chicken fettuccine, but Camille & Byron enjoyed being adventurous with seafood.

This is a beautiful view from a city in Asia.
Bradley & I at the McCleve Reunion out on the paddle boat.
Camille went rappelling with the YW/YM.  Byron was able to go with them.  One daring daughter!

Johnathan is such a cute kid.  He loves to collect money from all over the world.  Every time Byron travels, Johnathan is the first to get the coins from him.  Here he is sorting his money when he should have been going to bed.
The Deacons were asked to help a couple in our ward put up their Christmas lights.  Since Byron is over the Deacon's he invited Tanner to go with him also.  I guess only one other boy would get up on the roof along with Tanner.  Here he is being very brave with Brother Hamblin.  I'm actually glad I didn't see this since it would have made me very nervous.

Parker makes me laugh - on our way back from California in December, we stopped at Wendy's to eat lunch.  Parker got a kids meal with this cool yogi bear toy.  Parker put his yogi bear onto his straw - so amazed it stayed.
These pictures are of Camille at Youth Conference.  It was held at Camp Williams in Lehi.  There were some fun obstacle courses they were able to participate in.

Camille rappelling off a huge wall.
Camille doing the zip line.  She is so much more brave then I will ever be.
I'm not sure where this picture was taken, but it is a Young Women's activity.  So fun to get these pictures since I wouldn't usually see what fun she has at Young Womens.
Melissa was able to take Camille, Parker & Carter to see the David Archuleta Christmas concert with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.  I was a tad bit jealous they were able to go, but was very excited they had this opportunity.  I guess it was amazing!  They had a great time together.  Thanks Melissa for taking them - what a great memory for them.

California part 2

December 23 - (Thursday) - So we woke up to enjoy our last day in Disneyland with high hopes that this would be a nicer day than the 2 previous.  At first we all had on our jackets, but as the morning went on we were able to take them off and enjoy the beautiful sun and warmth.  I don't think we realized how lucky we had been the past two days with the rain.  I think the crowds were 4 times larger, which made for longer lines and not being able to move around as easily.  We had a great time, despite it, though.  Alice in Wonderland and the Teacups were two of the rides closed during the rain, so we had fun going on both of them.  Byron won't attempt the Teacups with us, so he became the designated photographer.

For lunch we wanted to watch "Billy Hill and the Hill Billies." We got some food at the restaurant there and waited until it started so we would have a seat.  I am so glad we took the opportunity to see this.  We had heard a lot about it, but never been before.  These guys were hilarious!  I loved hearing my children laugh at their funny antics and remarks.

The Disney characters weren't out very much during the rain, so it was fun to see a lot more of them around our last day.  The parades also didn't happen for rain days, so we enjoyed the Christmas Parade with the fun Disney characters.  Bradley loved watching it and was so excited to see so many of his favorite characters (Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Goofy, Donald Duck, etc.).

We headed back over to California Adventure for one last time around 5 p.m.  We had fun riding some new rides there.  We really wanted to go on California Screamin one last time, but found out that ride closed due to "World of Color" early - some very disappointed kids since this was their all time favorite ride.  We did enjoy seeing the back part of "World of Color."  It was amazing to see the cool fountains with all of the colors.  We didn't get to enjoy any of the movies show on the fountains, which made it not as spectacular.  Our last rides in the park were the Toy Story Mania about 4 times straight.  Every time we rode on it, the line was shorter by the time we were done, so we had to ride it again.  What an awesome ride!

As it was nearing 10 p.m., we wanted to ride on Space Mountain one more time so we headed back over to Disneyland.  The line was about an 80 minute wait, so we opted to ride the rockets and call it a night.  Even though there were some disappointments, we still had an amazing time.
Here we are riding the Casey Jr. Circus Train.  Parker & Tanner enjoying themselves.
Waiting in the very long ride to go on the Storybook Boats.  We were all wearing our "Disneyland shirts." - Tanner, Carter, Byron, Camille & Johnathan

December 24, 2010 - Friday - We all enjoyed sleeping in a little and then packed up.  After 6 days in a hotel, there was quite a bit to clean and pack.  We finally made it out of there.  We didn't make it down to Corcoran until around 3 p.m.  It was weird to think that it was already Christmas Eve.  Jared, Danielle & their family were already there along with Mark and Adam.  We had a great time visiting and enjoying time together.  Bradley hit it off instantly with his cousins.  I am so used to seeing him often or having him hanging around me that it was a huge transition to actually be looking for him.

Mom put together a fun Christmas program that evening.  We read out of the Bible the story of Mary and Joseph.  I played the piano while we sang songs.  After the program was over, it was hard to get the kids to wind down to go to sleep.

December 25, 2010 - Saturday - We were so lucky that the kids slept in until 7:00 a.m.  We went out around 7:30 to see what Santa had brought.  This year was a little different for us.  We haven't gone away for Christmas the past 8 years or so.  Since we really didn't want to transport tons of presents with us, we decided on simplicity - which definitely wasn't as exciting for the kids.  Disneyland was also a huge part of our Christmas.

Bradley got a Leapster with a "Go Diego" game.  Tavis & Jade also got one so the 3 of them had fun playing together.  The rest of the kids got money. They were really excited for the future gifts they would be able to buy.

We enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner.  We enjoyed relaxing and had fun going over to the church to play ball.  Tavis & Bradley brought their Leapsters and had fun playing with them.  All of my family, Jared & Tavis went and we had so much fun.  I really don't enjoy playing basketball as much as I enjoy watching it.  I did get to play two on two with Camille being my partner.  I would have to say that Camille is way better than me hands down.

Jared & Danielle had Byron & I for Christmas and got us the game "Things."  We had a blast playing it that evening.
Don't they all look excited!!!  The fun youngest to oldest tradition.

All of the kids with their loot.
It was so fun to be with Dad & Mom for Christmas.

All of the boys received a present with a paper inside letting them know that at home they had 2 soccer goals waiting for them.  They were really excited.  Every day they are outside playing ball and our poor fence is always the goalie.  Now they have something that will make it more enjoyable and hopefully save our fence:).
Johnathan received this dinosaur from Grandpa & Grandma Adamson and immediately started putting it together.
The kids all enjoying time with Grandpa as they were watching him see videos on youtube.com.  We had fun showing Grandpa Brian Reagan.
The two Leapster boys.
Basketball fun!

Speed is probably my kids favorite basketball game.  They are really good at it also.
Tavis and Bradley wanted to have a part of the fun also.  Jared was nice enough to help them each make a basket.

Johnathan with the finished project.

December 26, 2010 - Sunday - We went to church for their fun 2 hour meetings.  It still amazes me that I lived in Corcoran for 7 years and every time I go back I only recognize a handful of people.  Today was no different.  They actually had an awesome attendance of about 45 people.  It was fun to talk with a couple of the ones I know and find out how they are doing.  Between Jared's kids and my kids, we made up most of the primary.  Sister Mahaffey is usually always in their and does such an amazing job with my kids.  They all love being with her.

After church we enjoyed a delicious roast that Mom had prepared.  After lunch, Jared & Danielle headed out.  They are moving to Sacramento in a little over a month and were going to make some offers on homes.  We had so much fun seeing them and were sad to see them go.  Luckily we see them every year either in Corcoran or when they come to Taylorsville to see Danielle's family.

We enjoyed some more relaxing time and played some fun games with Dad & Mom that got us laughing so hard.

We loved spending the quality time with them and love visiting them whenever we can.

December 27, 2010 - Monday - We headed home early.  We ended up having quite a bit of traffic that we were hoping we wouldn't have to deal with.  In Utah the fog was really bad through different patches that also added to our slow trip.  We pulled into our home around 8:30 p.m. tired and ready to be home.
Here is a gorgeous view in Utah on our trip home.
